Introduction

This literature review is designed to be an online resource to aid teachers and researchers seeking information on computer technology and its applications in second language teaching. It consists primarily of journal article summaries, along with a limited number of book summaries. The works covered deal not only with technology in second language pedagogy, but also with a variety of relevant communications and linguistic concerns.
The summaries may be accessed either alphabetically by author, or else by subject heading. The subject headings contain types of media as well as pedagogical or communication issues. Each is listed below with a brief description.
This is a work in progress. Readers with comments or suggestions of other works to include in the bibliography are invited to contact Celeste Kinginger, sending either the reference or, preferably, a copy of the work itself.
