Announcements
- New publication: Toward useful program evaluation in college foreign language education; edited by Norris, Davis, Sinicrope, and Watanabe; featuring seven case studies of program evaluation at work in diverse US college settings.

- New guide: A utilization-focused approach to stating and assessing student learning outcomes; by Watanabe and Davis; this guide walks FL educators through the development of useful approaches to outcomes statements and assessments; includes numerous examples, templates, worksheets, and resources.
- New annotated bibliography: Annotations for language program evaluation publications in 2008-2009 have been added to the annotated bibliography (lots of promising new work!).
