Texts contain words that indicate the relationships between and among ideas. Such words include
enumerators (во-первых, in the first place; во-вторых, in the second place)
chronological markers (сначала, at first; потом, then)
contrast indicators (однако, however; с другой стороны, on the other hand)
summarizers (короче говоря, in short; в конце концов, finally)
These discourse markers help anticipate what might follow. Memorizing these words is a really good idea!
